He is an experienced corporate finance and capital markets professional, with experience in both the United States and Asia. He was Managing Director with Canaccord Genuity, a leading Canadian investment banking firm, and HSBC, one of the world’s largest banks, based in Hong Kong.
Prior to that, Darin was Director at Citigroup, both in Hong Kong and the United States where he originated and executed a wide range of international investment banking transactions, participating at every level of coverage and execution teams. He has advised some of the largest corporations and financial investors on a variety of M&A and capital raising transactions, and worked with companies throughout Asia and the emerging markets.
Prior to investment banking, Darin was a corporate attorney with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, one of the world’s largest law firms. He has a B.A. from Albion College in the U.S., and a J.D. from the Harvard University Law School.
Darin will be reporting to the Group Managing Director Mr. Ryan Gwee and will be located in our Hong Kong office[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
